剧情：Konai Helu Thaman is a prolific poet from Tonga and her poems have resonated with people far and wide. One of her memorable poems, 'You, The Choice of My Parents', is an examination of a woman who is going through an arranged marriage to a man picked by her parents. Her thoughts and musings are laid bare on traditional Tongan cloth called 'Ngatu', each chapter in her life brought on by a new sheet. Each Ngatu highlights her inner turmoil as she struggles to fulfill her place as a woman in a new world. It eventually ends with the 'Ngatu 'Uli', a 'Black Tapa' used exclusively for funerals, bringing her story to a close.
